In line with our commitment to sustainability and environmentally conscious initiatives, we have installed innovative sustainable lighting in the parking garages of Markthal and IJdock in collaboration with Rentalite in recent weeks. These new lighting systems, equipped with advanced motion detectors per fixture, are designed to improve our energy efficiency while contributing to the environment.

A notable feature of the installed lighting is its ability to automatically dim when no motion is detected. In a standby mode the fixture will dim to 10% power. In addition, only the luminaires in the immediate vicinity of the detected movement are activated at full power. This intelligent system leads to significant energy savings, estimated at approximately 750 kilowatt hours per day at both locations.
